At the Casa Hermes Foundation we believe that each piece tells a unique story about the evolution of medicine. That’s why we created the Conservation and Restoration Club, a program dedicated to the preservation and rehabilitation of historical objects from the collection.
This program is carried out as part of our partnership with the Biomedical Engineering Instrumentation and Radiation Physics Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon (LIBPhys-UNL), joining forces to ensure that these treasures can be admired, studied and shared with future generations.
Many thanks to Professors Isabel Tissot and Marta Manso for their visit to plan and schedule the work that will begin in February with the collection of X-ray ampoules.
