The Casa Hermes Foundation is expanding its educational services with a new programme – NUTRIR

The Casa Hermes Foundation is expanding its range of educational services with a new programme dedicated to food literacy in schools.

Thus, NUTRIR – the Food Literacy Programme – has been launched, aimed at primary school pupils, promoting an educational, fun and participatory approach to help children better understand balanced nutrition and make more informed choices from an early age.

This project stems from a joint initiative by the Casa Hermes Foundation, NOVA Medical School and Costa Nova, which developed Prato em T — an educational tool based on scientific evidence that helps to visualise, in a simple way, how to put together a balanced meal. The activities take place at SKOPE – Museum of Medicine and Health, in Aveiro.
