The Casa Hermes Foundation, based in Aradas, and ITAU – Instituto Técnico de Alimentação Humana (Technical Institute for Human Nutrition) have established a partnership to develop a set of activities aimed at promoting active ageing, health and well-being among the senior population of Aveiro.
The programme will be implemented among users accompanied by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Aveiro, the beneficiary of this initiative.
The first session – an artistic workshop inspired by the Christmas season – took place yesterday, kicking off a 12-week cycle dedicated to creativity, memory and well-being.
Over the 12 weeks, participants will have access to creative workshops, memory sessions, visits to Skope – Museum of Medicine and Health, conversations with health professionals and adapted physical activities, promoting autonomy, socialisation and physical and emotional wellbeing.
Together we take care of life!
