The Casa Hermes Foundation – Museum of Medicine and Health and Aveiro City Council have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at promoting health literacy and reinforcing healthy lifestyles among the school community.
Through this partnership, 4th and 9th grade students from schools in the Municipality of Aveiro will be able to visit Skope – Museum of Medicine and Health, a space where science meets citizenship, and discover, in an interactive way, the fascinating world of health and medicine.
The agreement is part of the Aveiro Municipality Educational Action Programme (PAEMA) and reinforces the Casa Hermes Foundation’s mission to educate for health, valuing the legacy of Aveiro doctor Hermes de Oliveira Castanhas and promoting scientific and cultural knowledge.
Interested schools can schedule visits through the Regional Educational Services (SER) by sending an expression of interest to ser@cm-aveiro.pt by the 15th of each month.
Together, we are taking another step towards building a more informed, participatory and healthy community.
