It was two days of great learning and a great time at Skope – Museum of Medicine and Health.
We believe that health literacy is an essential pillar in the education of young people.
Under our partnership with NOVA Medical School, we had the privilege of hosting the first Summer Medical School: Lifestyle – Aveiro Short Edition, a special, decentralised edition of NOVA Medical School’s (NMS) educational project, in partnership with the Casa Hermes Foundation.
This programme was aimed at 20 children between the ages of 6 and 12 from the Bom Sucesso Primary School, of the Dr. Mário Sacramento School Group, referred and invited by the Aradas Local Council, offering them a two-day immersive experience in key areas for their development: nutrition, physical activity, mental health and science.
This edition was entirely free for participants, thanks to the Itau Scholarship, which ensured the enrolment of referred children. The event was also organised with the support of strategic partners:
