The Casa Hermes Foundation welcomes GELPEIXE as a partner in the implementation of NUTRIR – Food Literacy Program, reinforcing our shared commitment to promoting more mindful choices and healthier eating habits in schools and the community.
NUTRIR is a health education initiative aimed at elementary school children, promoting more mindful eating habits through practical, participatory experiences tailored to young children. The program helps children understand the importance of a balanced diet and dietary diversity, encouraging healthier choices from an early age.
Through this collaboration, we reinforce the importance of joint efforts among institutions that share the goal of promoting knowledge, education, and a positive impact on the community.
NUTRIR – School Food Literacy Program stems from a partnership between the Casa Hermes Foundation, NOVA Medical School, and Costa Nova, which together developed Prato em T—an educational tool based on scientific evidence that supports food education from childhood onward.
🌐 As part of this initiative, the website pratoemt.pt was also launched, where you can learn about the Prato em T concept and the importance of food literacy, as well as access healthy recipes and weekly menu suggestions.
Together, we take food literacy further.
