{"id":6721,"date":"2026-05-21T14:04:33","date_gmt":"2026-05-21T14:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacaocasahermes.pt\/sem-categoria\/a-fch-recebeu-a-equipa-da-gelpeixe\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T14:12:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T14:12:53","slug":"fch-welcomed-the-gelpeixe-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacaocasahermes.pt\/en\/news\/fch-welcomed-the-gelpeixe-team\/","title":{"rendered":"FCH welcomed the Gelpeixe team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We welcomed the Gelpeixe team to the Casa Hermes Foundation for a training session on the NUTRIR project\u2014the School Food Literacy Program\u2014and how it is being implemented by the Casa Hermes Foundation within the school community.<\/p>\n<p>This opportunity for sharing and capacity-building aimed to introduce the project\u2019s methodology, content, and educational activities, enabling the program to now be replicated and developed within the Gelpeixe community.<\/p>\n<p>NUTRIR promotes food literacy among elementary school children through practical, participatory activities tailored to young children, encouraging more conscious food choices and healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.<\/p>\n<p>We believe that the impact of these projects grows when they are built through a network of partnerships that share a commitment to education, health, and the community.<\/p>\n<p>The NUTRIR program is based on the Prato em T (T-shaped Plate), which emerged from a partnership between the Casa Hermes Foundation, NOVA Medical School, and Costa Nova, with the goal of promoting food literacy and healthier lifestyle habits starting in childhood.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83c\udf10 As part of this initiative, the website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pratoemt.pt\/index-gb.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">www.pratoemt.pt <\/a>was also launched, where you can learn more about the concept, access healthy recipes, and view weekly menu suggestions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We welcomed the Gelpeixe team to the Casa Hermes Foundation for a training session on the NUTRIR project\u2014the School Food Literacy Program\u2014and how it is being implemented by the Casa Hermes Foundation within the school community.
