The programme will be implemented among users accompanied by Santa Casa da Miseric\u00f3rdia de Aveiro, the beneficiary of this initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Part of the Casa Hermes Foundation&#8217;s Cultura que Cuida (Culture that Cares) Project and ITAU&#8217;s Senior Food &#8211; Health and Pleasure Programme, the project combines science, culture and care in an innovative multidisciplinary approach. Over 12 weeks, participants will have access to creative workshops, memory sessions, visits to Skope \u2013 Museum of Medicine and Health, conversations with health professionals and adapted physical activities, promoting autonomy, socialisation and physical and emotional wellbeing. A commitment to a healthier and more participatory community.<\/p>\n<p>This cycle integrates a multidisciplinary approach consisting of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>creative workshops<\/li>\n<li>memory and cognitive stimulation sessions<\/li>\n<li>visits to the Museum of Medicine and Health<\/li>\n<li>conversations with health professionals<\/li>\n<li>adapted physical activity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An innovative combination that seeks to strengthen skills, stimulate social interaction and contribute to a healthier, more active and participatory life.<\/p>\n<p>The first session took place in the afternoon, with an artistic workshop inspired by the Christmas season, marking the beginning of a journey that combines participation, encounter and personal development.<\/p>\n<p>Why this programme?<\/p>\n<p>Portugal is now one of the oldest countries in Europe, and loneliness is one of the great contemporary challenges.
